How many people can go on a flight?
For the Trial Lesson the basic price includes the hire of an aircraft large enough for two people, yourself or the person receiving the gift, together with one of our highly qualified professional flying instructors.

We only use one type of aircraft for Pleasure Flights which can take up to three passengers together with our professional pilot.

Where will the flight be taken from?
Flights are normally taken from Airborne Adventures base at Headcorn Aerodrome, south of Headcorn Village, Kent, just off the A274.

When can I fly?
Flight times are available most days from 09:00 to Sunset.

Will my flight definitely go ahead at the time booked?
Many factors have to come together at the same time in order for a flight to be made e.g. the weather. Whilst every effort will be made to fly at the booked time, it may not be possible to do so and an alternative date will have to be arranged.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE PHONE US ON THE DAY OF YOUR FLIGHT TO CONFIRM EVERYTHING IS OK.

Can people not taking a flight come along as well?
Headcorn Aerodrome welcomes anyone interested in flying.

Activities at the aerodrome include vintage aircraft, aerobatics, parachuting, model aircraft and an aviation museum (open Sundays and Bank Holidays in the summer).

All this together with a picnic/spectator area right at the side of the runway,

Headcorn Aerodrome is a fantastic place for a day out with the whole family.

Is there any age limit on children flying?
No children under 3 years of age are allowed in our aircraft.

Children 3-4 years of age must be in a child seat (car type) secured by the aircraft seat harness.

Children 5 years and above must sit on their own seat in the aircraft and be strapped in at all times, just like the adult.
