The European Private Pilots Licence (JAR PPL)
With a JAR PPL you will be able to fly European Registered, single engined aircraft, in European Airspace. You will be able to fly during daylight, in weather conditions which allow you to see the ground at all times.
The medical requirements of a JAR PPL reasonably stringent, requiring pilots to pass a JAR PPL medical at regular intervals.
The minimum flight training requirements for the JAR PPL is 45 hours. You will need to reach the required standards for general handling and navigation, including the basic use of radio navigation aids.
You will need to take 7 multiple choice ground exams and Radio Telephony Practical exam.
At the end of the course, when your instructor is confident that you will pass the practical flight tests, you will have to pass the Skills and Navigational Flight Tests.
