The Trial Lesson Gift - Take control of a light aircraft with a Trial Lesson

The recipient of this gift will not only have the chance to experience the excitement of taking to the air in a light aircraft, but will also have the opportunity to have a go at the controls.



 

On arrival, you will be given a short briefing by one of our highly experienced professional flying instructors which will cover the basic control surfaces of a light aircraft, the elevator, ailerons and rudder.

After getting comfortable in the aircraft and completing a safety briefing, your instructor will start the engine, make all the necessary pre-flight checks and taxi to the runway.

Once clearance for takeoff has obtained, your instructor will line up on the runway and take-off, climbing away from the airfield to a height of approximately 2,000 feet.

Once all the necessary in flight safety checks are complete, your instructor will demonstrate each of the primary control surfaces and then let you control the aircraft. All aircraft have dual controls, so there is no danger of getting into any trouble and, if you don’t feel comfortable at any point, just let the instructor take over.

On landing, your instructor will provide you with a Flight Certificate as a memento of your first flight.
